Silence unleashed!

In silence she resided,
She never asked for help.
Her silence so deafening,
Much louder than a yelp.

Yet so many you see failed her,
They ignored the glaring truth,
She felt so very lonely,
Standing on that roof.

As she looked down at the world,
She stood in shock and awe,
Someone had stopped and noticed,
The girl faded like a star.

He climbed up the staircase,
He ran right to her side,
A total stranger to her,
A savior was supplied.

He reached out to grab her,
She then took his hand,
“You don’t need me to save you,”
You need to take a stand.

He spoke of many personal things,
He’d buried in a book,
He felt so very ashamed,
Like some horrid kind of crook.

She reached out a trembling hand,
Their looks could not compare.
Their silence was so golden,
It broke down their despair.

Nobody should suffer,
If you can lend a hand.
So be brave and help them,
When they can no longer stand.

Together we are mighty,
Together we are strong.
Standing by each other,
Can never be seen as wrong.
