Coping

 I feel I’m coping better,

Than I have done in a while.

I feel like I am stronger,

Now I’ve found my style.

I feel like I am more able,

To cope with what befalls.

I can face my demons,

As I answer life’s call.

I feel like I have grown,

More wonderful than before.

I am far more stronger,

I know that I can soar.

I was so very far away,

I thought there was no way back.

I thought I would lose myself,

I was trapped somewhere black.

I could not see a way forward,

Trapped within the past.

I could not find a way to move on,

I could not stop the die that was cast.
