Pandemic History!
In history you will see,
Illness spreading easily.
Influenza caused much pain,
It claimed so many, oh what a shame.
Plague covered the world before,
Till it was beaten by our strength to endure.
Cocoliztli epidemic claimed many lives,
Central America barely survived.
Plague tore through countries and lands,
Taking the lives that could have been grand.
SARS was a killer of epic degree,
It claimed many lives in history.
Plague reached out in every direction,
Traveling people caused the infection.
The difference this time I think you’ll agree,
Is it’s everywhere, social media disease.
The world has a balance to keep it alive,
Though it is sad everyone won’ t survive.
What we can do is store in our mind,
Treasured thoughts of those who declined.
